Equivoci comuni in inglese: then e than

Lo spelling di ‘then’ e ‘than’ è molto simile, ma il significato non lo è. Vediamo come usare correttamente queste due parole, così non li confonderai di nuovo.

Then**:** questa parola viene usata quando abbiamo bisogno di collocare delle azioni nel tempo. Viene utilizzata anche per le situazioni ‘if…then’.

Ad esempio:

“If you don’t wear sunscreen, then you run the risk of burning”

Than: questa parola viene usata quando vogliamo fare un paragone.

Ad esempio:
