日常作息的寫法，其實不難，有一些英文片語就常可用來描述自己的生活。現在就讓我來以自己的一天為例，介紹如何使用這些片語。

I wake up at 6 o’clock. I get up at 6.50. I make a cup of tea and iron my clothes. I have a shower and get dressed. I usually wear jeans, a blouse, a jumper or cardigan and boots in winter and a blouse in summer. I pack my bag ready with all my teaching materials. I then put on my coat and leave the house. I walk to the bus stop. I catch the bus at 8.15, I pay my fare and sit down. It takes about 45 minutes to my destination three miles away. I get off the bus and walk to the school where I teach English. I have to sign in and get the key. Class starts at 9.25 and ends at 11.25.
我六點醒來，六點五十起床，泡杯咖啡，用熨斗燙我的衣服，接著洗澡，穿好衣服。我通常在冬天穿牛仔褲，襯衫，毛衣還有靴子，在夏天時則穿襯衫。我準備我的教材，放進我的背包，然後穿上外套離開家。我走到巴士站，在八點十五分搭上車，我付車錢然後坐下，大概需要花四十五分鐘抵達三英哩外的目的地。我下車，走到教英文的學校，我必須簽到，然後拿鑰匙，九點二十五分開始上課，十一點二十五分結束。
I have lunch at 12. I eat a baguette or sandwich at the local cafe. I do some shopping, then I walk back to school. I do some photocopying and go back to my classroom. I teach in the afternoon from 1 to 3pm. I then catch the bus back home and spend a couple of hours relaxing before I cook dinner.
我十二點吃午餐，我在當地的咖啡館吃法國麵包或三明治，我買一些東西，然後走回學校，影印一些文件，回到我的教室。我從下午一點到三點教課，然後搭巴士回家，在我準備晚餐前，會休息幾個小時之後。
My son goes to work shortly after I come home. Sometimes the dinner is cooked by him before I get there, sometimes I cook. I like to eat rice or pasta with a sauce. I chop the onions and fry them and then mix them with garlic tomatoes, carrots, spinach and chilli. I boil the rice. After dinner I wash up, sweep the floor and tidy up a bit.
我兒子在我回家之後很快就去上班了，有時候在我回家之前他會煮好晚餐，有時候則是我來準備。我喜歡吃配上醬料的米飯或義大利麵，我切洋蔥，炒洋蔥，然後將它們和番茄大蒜，紅蘿蔔，菠菜以及辣椒拌在一起。我煮飯。吃過晚飯後，我洗洗手，掃地然後整理一下。
Then I make phone calls, mark my students’ work, do the laundry, I go on Facebook, or watch TV until about 10.30 when my son comes home. We catch up on our day, and at about 11 o’clock I go to bed.
接著，我打電話，批改學生作業，洗衣服，逛臉書或看電視直到我兒子回家，差不多十點半。我們聊一聊今天發生的事，大約十一點的時候，我上床睡覺。
Other days I get up early, go downstairs put on my computer and teach on EF English Live for three hours. Then I have a break, eat dinner with my son, have a walk or go shopping before returning to work and teaching again for another three hours. Working at home can be very convenient and I love being able to talk to people around the world. It is also nice working in a school and seeing people on a regular basis and working in a team. So I feel I have the best of both worlds.
其他日子我會早起，到樓上去打開我的電腦，到EF English Live教英文三小時。接著我會休息一下，和我兒子一起吃晚餐，去散步或買東西，之後回到家工作，再另外教英文三個小時。在家工作非常方便，我喜歡和來自全世界各地的人交流。在學校工作也很好，和一個團隊一起工作，也可以固定見到共事的人，所以可以享有兩種不同的工作方式，我覺得很好，很喜歡！
