into :

表示進到裡面、進入、往裡面去都是用into

The man suddenly jumped into the river.
那位男士突然跳進河裡

It’s getting cold. Let’s go into the house.
天氣涼了，咱們進屋去吧

inside :

在裡面、在內部都是用inside，強調已經在裡面了，而不是像into ，是要從某個地方進到裡面去。

There are cookies and candy inside the box.
這盒子裡有餅乾糖果

Maggie parked the car inside the garage.
Maggie把車停在車庫內

out of :

從裡面出來、從某個地方出來都可以用out of 來表示

Sandy just walked out of the room without saying anything.
Sandy只是走出房間，什麼話也沒說

I took some money out of my pocket and gave it to Jim.
我從口袋掏些錢給Jim

outside :

在外面、向某個方位的外面、在某個地點外面，都可用outside

It’s a beautiful Autumn morning outside the window.
窗外是美麗的秋日晨景

Please wait outside the door.
請在門外等候

through :

表示通過、穿越，這個字和though (雖然) 的拼字很像，要特別注意。

We drove through the tunnel.
我們開車穿越隧道

Ryan’s words kept running through my mind.
Ryan的話一直在我腦海中迴盪

across :

表示在某個方位的對面、從一邊到另外一邊、橫越過去等意思

The bank is just across the street.
銀行就在這條街的對面

Billy simply swam across the river.
Billy直接就游過去河的對岸

around :

這個字有幾個不同意義，表示方位則是環繞、 在某個地方的周圍 、四處

The children sat around the table.
小朋友們圍著桌子坐好

Joe and Susan spent three weeks traveling around Europe.
Joe 和Susan以3週的時間環遊歐洲

along :

表示沿著、順著

Michael and I walked along the beach at sunset.
傍晚Michael和我沿著海邊散步

Somewhere along the road, there is a coffee shop.
順著這條路一直走有一家咖啡館
