英文句子有主句和子句，以從屬連接詞為首的子句，補充說明主句的意義，可以表示時間、原因、條件和對比等。從屬句在前的時候，要用逗號隔開。從屬連接詞在後的時候，則不用。

after 在…之後
After I get home from work, I like to sit down in my favorite chair to read the newspaper in peace and quiet.
